No More Posts About PublishAmerica

All of us who write on this blog had a long discussion about the anonymous posting option and the content that is coming through it. We set this up so that the general public could have the chance to report information anonymously without creating a profile. We have been getting a lot of posts about PublishAmerica, court cases involving them and some really silly soliciations that are sent out to those on the company's mailing list. From what we have read these are very questionable. However, we have also been notified of the death of Sinthyia Darkness as a comment to a post about a lawsuit filed by Dolores Dawes. Reporting on scams is a noble cause but we have witnessed shameful behavior coming from some of those who cliam to be critics of this publisher. I reference the hate mail and threats that have been sent to Miss Versace for her article. That information did not start with her report. She has removed that report as a direct result of the awful things being said about her by grown folks. We have an anonymous poster who has come here and then goes back to the Absolute Write website and smacks this girl again. If that is the kind of people these posts about PublishAmerica is attracting to this website then we unanimously have voted to disallow comments on what has been posted and we are still debating on whether or not we should just delete all the posts involving this company. This isn't funny. This isn't a game. There is absolutely no benefit to us to keep these posts here. It isn't up to us to say if Sinthyia Darkness is or is not dead at this point and we are not going digging like a bunch of bounty hunters to find out. These people have their torches and pitchforks out. If this person has gone to such lengths to protect their identity as some claim, then I think we all need to respect that because anybody who has done such a service by informing on these con artists has every right to their privacy. Trying to disclose their identity as another commenter stated is nobody's business and doing so if they aren't dead would cause them to be. Therefore, we are not accepting any new posts or information about this publisher. Anything that is posted if it gets passed us somehow will be deleted. That's the way it goes people. We are all up for reporting on scam but the minute a kid gets caught up in the cross fire, we have to side with and protect that child.

  1. Well said! This company is just a speck of dust to us. So many people made a mountain out of a mole hill and Tatiana's mother called the police this evening. Go ahead and just start removing these posts about Publish America. We don't need to deal with this.

  2. Also why would anyone threaten her over an article about Synthia's death? Now that makes no sense nope none at all.

  3. We don't know but we know that people have. My guess? People need to grow up and act their age. Do you honestly believe that an exclusively online outfit like Examiner.com checks age and ID of those who write a blog hosted by them? They don't employ people. I bet you anything that I can go there right now, make up a name and date of birth and sign up. Want to make a bet? In that respect they seem to be a lot like this PublishAmerica. They do not verify who you are just as long as they think they can make money off of you.

  4. You mention that "PA" hired this private investigator. How would you know that it was PA's money that paid for it?

  5. There's no mystery at all who Synthyia is. I know who that is. It's no surprise at all to hear that PA's hired detective couldn't locate them. They never will. Nobody ever will. That person has full protection from the government. Their true identity would leave you all speechless and wishing you didn't know.

  6. Meh. PublishAmerica is very old news. If you just Google their name you come across complaints about them. the media is saturated with information that they are a shady buisness. I say delete these posts too. Let these people go bother other websites. It's disgusting that they are sending thse messages to Tatiana. I hope her mother does press charges.

  7. say you know what you said about Examiner gives me an idea. We could go blog about crime over there but what name do we use? Chester Drawers has a ring to it but whose picture do we use for the profile? They probably would let me sign up with that name. How'd they let a name like Sinthyia Darkness get passed them? lol

  8. Tatiana's family called the police and reported that the people on Absolute Write are harassing her daughter. Her blog is set to private but they felt it necessary to get hold of a cached file of her blog. Anyone can access this gir's private blog because of what they have done. The police have urged them to take the police report to the FBI so we haven't heard the last of this. All of this trouble because she wrote an article.

  9. Fucking bastards. Doesn't take much to figure out whose behind those harassing emails. I'll file a complaint with Google about this. They think this is funny to go into this gir;s private blog? LEAVE THIS KID ALONE. IF YOU DO NOT TAKE DOWN THAT LINK, IT WILL BE YOUR WEBSITE THAT WE MAKE THE FOCUS OF THIS WEBSITE. we know the proper channels to take. Don't worry.

  10. Yea well Tatyana is scared out of her wits with this. She doesn't want that blog anymore because the folks at Absolute Write made a cache file that allowed anybody who clicked on that link to have full access to the girl's blog. Rather than have her delete it, we took ownership of it. This experience hads tramatized this girl and she doesn't want to write anything ever again. Her mother said she has become very depressed over this and has been crying and shaking. Doesn't take much to know who is doing the bullying. So anybody who clicks on that web cache your IP address will be logged and the only people will see are a couple of angry dads.

  11. Oh, really? So tell me...who is this "Synthyia" and if you know so much about her, how come you can't spell her name?

  12. If you want to take PA down, then start your own blogs like I did!
