Well, It's May 5 2012 and I received this one yesterday! The urge is to click on one of the links they sent.... But I resisited! I printed out the email and am going to give it to my local post office.... Don;t know if my MAC wold have been infected - sooner or later, Apple products will be vunerable....
ReplyDeleteHad almost the same email with different costs. Tested my system by clicking on the file and protection deleted the zip file knowing it's a virus. Windows 8
ReplyDeleteJust got this one today. I live in Michigan, and didn't recently order anything. ESP from "Anaheim". I got the email on my phone so there wasn't an attachment, so just to be safe I googled it and found this.

I hate to sound stupid, but I'm waiting for a Mother's Day gift to be delivered. Because it's late, this email almost got me. However, something didn't seem quite right, so I checked tracking numbers before opening attachment, then Found this site. Thanks guys.
ReplyDeleteYou're not stupid at all. You were suspicious and you checked it out. These types of scam letters usually surface around the holidays because that is when most people send something through the post office
