Willem Meiners PublishAmerica CEO versus Sinthyia Darkness et al

The Bogus Barrister has an update on the federal lawsuit filed by Willem and Alice Meiners as individuals against, Sinthyia Darkness, phillip Dolan and Thomas Meyers.

The case was dismissed for lack of jurisdiction.

As of June 1, 2012, "... granting [25] Motion to Dismiss Complaint lack jurisdiction"

This case cannot be refiled since the statue of limitations has tolled on the alledged defamation.

Bogus Barrister is attempting to obtain a copy of the judge's opinion. The document may be under seal.

However, those of you who are interested in the goings on at PublishAmerica will be interested to know that every single one of the motions their attorney filed on behalf of Mr. and Mrs. Meiners were denied...every single one of them!

It is important to point out that this lawsuit never involved PublishAmerica.
So now all of that money was wasted by PublishAmerica who in their pleadings admitted that the company funded the lawsuit, and the Private investigator to find Meyers and Reverend Sinthyia Darkness. Some perks, eh? That may be a question for our researchers here to look into because it doesn't seem to me that your company should be paying for a personal lawsuit for the CEO.

I think Meiners is busy licking his wounds. I notice that he hasn't penned one of his CEO letters since Thursday. He was writing those every day of the week until then.

  3. I would love to be a fly on the wall when Meiners' lawyer explains why they lost.
