Myths about the Murkowski bill SECTION 301. paragraph (A)(2)(C) of S. 1618

Spammers and internet scammers are sending out emails like this one below with a curious disclaimer at the end:   "Mail Management Instructions: This message is sent in compliance of the new e-mail bill: SECTION 301. paragraph (A)(2)(C) of S. 1618. This message is NOT Spam as long as you are provided with a way to stop at any time, simply email back with remove in subject line*"   If you get spammed by a person trying to promise you instant wealth a la, let me show you the way to riches, you know you can't believe a word coming from people who seem to think that there is a federal law regarding unsolicited emails AKA Spam.     This bill, commonly known as the "Murkowski bill" would have legalized sending spam provided certain requirements where met. There was such a bill in the 105th congress but the language regarding "Spam" was removed before it was passed by the Senate and the bill was NEVER passed by the House of Representatives.  It never became law. But spammers never let facts cloud their conclusion and thus by attaching this rather humourous disclaimer they are admitting that what they have sent out is spam. Furthermore, Abigale Luke sounds like the name of a Nigerian scammer because it is. This scammer also uses the aliases of Abigale Miles and Ashley Hopkins. We are sure there are more bogus names and anyone who knows of other names this scammer uses, please leave a comment.
