Miami Craigslist Pet scam
Here is one for you. There are two identical ads in the pet section. Both posted today and both claiming to have found a "baby kitten" of appoximately a month old. Beyond that there is no photo or description of this kitten. When I responded I got an email from a person who only uses a first name. She demands my phone number in order to text me these photos. For some reason they refuse to send them by email although she responded by email. Secondly, this person demanded in the email that she will do a home visit. She is not a licensed animal rescuer or affiliated with any organization. I would never invite a stranger from Craiglist into my home for any reason.
