Authorities are searching for the driver of the vehicle that ran over a man riding on a bicycle near Andrews Avenue and 33rd street. The accident happened around 7:30 pm on Saturday November 4th night in front of the Hess gas station. The unidentified male victim was taken to an area hospital where he was placed on life support. He died early in the morning on Monday November 7th 2011 from his injuries and police are looking for the suspect. Authorities have obtained the video surveillance footage from Hess. Their cameras point at Andrews Avenue to record those who fill up their tanks and drive off without paying. Hopefully this will be enough to locate the suspect and charge them with this horrible crime. If you were a witness, please get in touch with the Broward county sheriff. They don't need your name, just your information.
