An Open Letter To All American Citizens

Dear Citizens of the United States,   Our country now faces it's greatest threat to our freedoms. The lawmakers we put in office have waged war upon the Constitution and every last man, woman and child in the country. All of the Senators who voted in favor of bill 1867 (National Defense Authorization Act, H.R.1540) should be removed from office immediately and tried for treason. Yes, there should be a trial providing them with the Due Process that they have voted to deprive us of. If not, we are no better than they are. There is much discussion about this bill but notice the news media is conspicuously silent. Why? Freedom of the press is afraid. The bill has now been passed by the House of Representatives. We are just one vote away from Martial Law. Guess who has that final vote? Some say America died on September 11, 2001. Others say it died that day Obama was elected President. People like to point fingers at political parties but this one is neither a Republican fault or a Democratic one. The fault rests upon the shoulders of those who voted these communists into office.   We the people have become a distracted nation. We care more about writing nonsense comments on Yahoo news or reading about Kim Kardashian's latest controversy to focus on what really matters. We have been too busy complaining that our religious freedoms have been trampled on just because our neighbor put up Christmas lights or  a Christmas Tree. We don't think Jesus should be part of a nativity scene. Teachers in public schools have altered the words to  Christmas Carols to fit their own agendas. Why remove the word "gay" as in don we now our gay apparel.What the hell has happened to this country?   ill matter five years down the road, but the passage of this bill will forever change America. People from other countries like Canada refuse to travel here thanks to the  TSA Nazis. Groping grannies is really the American way. Our forefathers would be ashamed of us. The Republicans haven't failed us. The Democrats  haven't failed us. We the people failed our country because we put them in office. We haven't chosen wisely America.   Ladies and gentlemen, this bill is not being passed for anyone's best interest or safety. That's the biggest load of crap and surely nobody really believes that. The passage of this Bill will affect many things. Including speaking our or criticizing the American government. Bloggers, reporters and websites like the Bogus Barrister would be silenced for speaking out against government corruption.   This bill has now passed the Senate and House and this would give the military complete authority on United States soil to arrest any American citizen they accuse without a shred of evidence. If the government deems that you have ties to a "terrorist " group they will come after you and your family. Terrorist group means anybody who speaks out against the government. This means you qualify just by visiting a website whose content may be defined by the military as "terrorism."   When arrested, you do not hear any charges against you. You do not have the right to defend yourself. You cannot post bail. There is no trial. No hearing. You go to prison and stay there...indefinitely. Our only chance to fix this is to bombard the White House with letters and phone calls. I suggest phone calls because it's faster and sends a louder message. CALL TODAY, TOMORROW, THE NEXT DAY and ON AND ON until President Obama places his vote!
