Man shops at Wal Mart with a One million dollar bill!

Pardon me but do you have change for a million-dollar bill? I only need to purchase $476 dollars worth from you today. A comedy? Sort of.

Authoriies say that this is what happened in a Wal Mart in North Carolina when 53 year old Michael Fuller stepped up to the checkout counter to pay for a microwave oven, a vacuum cleaner and many other items. The cashier knew the bill was bogus but Fuller got defensive insisting that the legal tender was not a forgery. Employees called the police and the bogus bill bearer was arrested.

The largest bill in circulation is the one hundred dollar bill. The United States government stopped minting bills of up to $10,000 in 1969.

Fuller was charged with attempting to obtain property by false pretense and uttering a forged instrument. He is in jail on a $17,500 bond. He is scheduled to be in court Tuesday.
