abandoned bulldogs versus idiotic human

Six English Bulldog puppies were found stuffed inside a suitcase in an alley in Toldeo, Ohio. According to The (Toledo) Blade, Howard Davis allegedly tried to abandon the dogs and their mother, but forgot he had a luggage tag with his information on it attached to the canvas suitcase. A Toledo Area Humane Society officer filed two counts of abandonment against Davis, one for the adult dog and one for the six puppies. The puppies were discovered by onlookers who unzipped the bag to free them. The onlookers told officials that they had found the bag zipped closed and the mother, Maddie, standing by it. Dog wardens came to the site and brought the mother and her pups to the Humane Society.
