PublishAmerica comes to Orlando

Look at this. The PublishAmerica roadshow will be pulling up in Orlando Florida. The PublishAmerica meet up, let's call it what it is, will be held at the Florida Hotel and Conference Center on May 1st from 9 to 4:30. After that, they will take the pony show over to the Florida mall from 5 to 7. We have a few contributors to the Bogus Barrister who reside or work in that vicinity. Lucky PublishAmerica! A table to show off your book to other publishamerica authors will run you 99 bucks.

They make this statement:

"We expect hundreds of attendees, including authors, literary agents, media, booksellers, marketing experts, and regular book readers."

We are media. I haven't seen any other media outlets publishing pictures or any other articles about these conventions. It's only just PublishAmerica filing youtube videos and posting pics on their Facebook page.

Learn. Make new friends. Enjoy the fellowship. Become a stronger author.

You may also share a table with someone else. Secure half a table, one chair all day for $54

Host assigns exhibition spaces at their sole discretion.

Oh boy! Looking forward to this event and it's not going to cost us a penny. See you there PublishAmerica!

By the way, evidence that although they claim this gathering is open to all authors, non-PA authors (although who else would want to attend this?"

The advertisment is at

See where it says, " If you are a self-published author: register at Authors Convention Other, and you are welcome to join!"

  1. When I see what PA tell's everyone I keep thinking about the song, "Wasted Days and Wasted Nights".
    I wonder why ??

  2. Ah, when I think about PA I have the Who's Eminence Front in my head.

    Behind an eminence front
    An eminence front - it's a put-on
    It is an eminence front...

I really think abot that put on when I see videos of these so called conventions.
